Customizing Default System Icons (10.3.x) When I was backing up my iBook hard disk to an old desktop IDE disk I'd USB'd, I removed the movies, music and pictures icons from the finder. I replaced them by dragging the new folders from the external disk but the groovy old icons have vanished - all I see now are bog standard folder icons. Hopefully this'll help sort it out - I want my old icons back!


UPDATE:It didn't help, but I did get some help from the good people of the macworld.co.uk forums. The icons are restored by recreating the movies, music and pictures folders in my home folder, and dragging them into the finder. I'm just not quite sure why yet...
