  Google Arkansas...
Tour the Arkansas River Valley of western Arkansas: "The Fort Smith National Historic Site, located in downtown Fort Smith, embraces the remains of two frontier forts and the Federal Court for the Western District of Arkansas. Today, the historic courthouse and jail building have been restored, and its visitors center includes exhibits that focus on: Fort Smith's military history from 1817 to 1871; 'Hangin' Judge' Isaac C. Parker; U.S. Deputy Marshals and outlaws; and Federal Indian policy. The park also contains a reconstruction of the gallows on the original site used for executions from 1873 to 1896. Fort Smith's visitors center, Miss Laura's, is housed in a restored turn-of-the-century brothel. Tours are offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Visitors can also catch the trolley here for tours of the historic district or board vintage passenger cars at Van Buren's train depot for scenic excursions through the Boston Mountains. Van Buren's downtown district is composed of six blocks of art galleries, antique shops, restaurants and historical attractions."

Sounds lovely - hope I get a chance to see more than just the inside of an air-conditioned office building.

As a software developer I have to keep a lot of stuff in my head all at the same time. In the process of juggling all that stuff I often forget interesting things. Not any more. Now I'll just post them here. This way we all win: I don't forget stuff; you don't forget or miss stuff. The Marketeers at my work would refer to this as Win-Win.
